Description

Ultracentrifugation is used to separate particles or organelles by applying extremely high g-forces (>20000 g, up to 600000g!). Ultracentrifuges are used in runs with fixed-angle, vertical or swing-out rotors carrying buckets (always use all buckets). This machine purchased in 2014  is dedicated to be used with a fixed angle 90Ti rotor. When bottles are applied, take into account that the max speed is 65 krpm for 362000 g.
