Type of electron microscope

This Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) is is dedicated to all kinds of routine inspections of thin material. Images are recorded with a MegaView Soft Imaging camera (1376 x 1032 pixels at binning 1 x 1, square pixels) operated under the iTEM software (Olympus). It is relatively easy to use this microscope (However, ALWAYS ASK INSTRUCTIONS from the assistant before working with this microscope).

Among special functions are the option Multiple Image Alignment to stitch several images automatically whithin one series of acquisitions, and acquisition of tilted images for stereo projections.
